Can language effect how we think and observe the natural world? By using a Nature Observation Notebook as a means to learn a new language we may be able to widen our perspectives and unlock more discovery and new ways of understanding nature. In this seminar, you will learn what a Nature Observation Notebook is, and some techniques for how to learn another language with it.
Target
Anyone learning another language can benefit from this method, although examples will be given in English and Japanese.
It is good for all ages and skill levels. This is a great activity for families to do together too. Adults and children often learn from, and inspire each other.
Please note that opinions expressed by the tutor during the seminar are the tutor’s and do not necessarily reflect a general opinion by Cafetalk.
