The power of reading out loud

Reading is usually associated with silence, a quite space in a library.  But did you know that reading out loud is very powerful and has many benefits! Reading out loud used to be an ancient art when clay tablets were still in use.

Here are some of the benefits:

  •   Reading aloud can bring joy and comfort
  •   Research shows that you remember words much better
  •   Understand complex text better
  •   Build a bond with someone you are reading with
  •   By listening to someone else read, you remember vocabulary better
  •   Enjoy the beauty of spoken words

Reading out loud can improve your English and build up valuable skills. It is a useful learning tool.
