Many cities around the world have famous sightseeing attractions, but I’m always impressed by the creativity of cities in Japan that do this. So many cities have built something really unique to attract visitors and promote local tourism. Personally, I’d like to visit
Mizuki Shigeru Road in Sakaiminato, Tottori, but there are so many other local attractions, and just the other day, I came across another example of this that I had never seen (or even imagined) before - an underwater post box! The video is linked below.

Canadian cities don’t do this so often, but there are a few places where huge versions of things exist as sightseeing attractions, like the huge pierogi in Glendon, Alberta, the huge Muskoka chair in Gravenhurst, Ontario, the huge apple in Colborne, Ontario, or the huge nickel in Sudbury, Ontario. Apparently, we just like big things, and while big things are OK, I hope we can be a little more creative in the future!
