奈良・飛火野（とびひの）にて、夏の鹿寄せが始まりました。
今は冬と夏に観光イベントとして行われていますが、その昔エサが少なくなる冬に、鹿たちのために行われていたそうです。今年の春もかわいい小鹿がたくさん生まれました。ぜひ小鹿たちに会いに奈良にいらしてくださいね。

鹿寄せとは：ホルンの美しい音色(交響曲第6番田園）を奏でると、その音につられて大勢の鹿（今年生まれたかわいい小鹿も）がその場に駆け寄ってきます。そして集まった鹿たちにごほうびにエサ（どんぐり）をあげます。「鹿寄せ」とは、そのようなシンプルな行事となっています。鹿寄せは約15分間、奈良公園・飛火野にて行われます。
What is SHIKAYOSE??
A French horn player summons the local deer and newly born fawns to be fed（acorns), with a performance of Beethoven's 6th Symphony Pastoral. The SHIKAYOSE performance lasts around 15 minutes, in Tobihino, Nara Park.
鹿(しか）means deer 寄せ（よせ）means gathering
