How are you? It sounds like cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Japan now. It must be very beautiful there! I wish I could stand under a row of trees while the petals fall like pink snow.
In the TED Talks video below, the speaker mentions the importance of figuring out "why" you do what you do. So, I would like to mention "why" I teach English.

As an English teacher for ESL students, I have found great joy and satisfaction in my work. It's not just about imparting language skills, but it's also about creating a positive impact on students' lives.
One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching English is seeing my students' progress. Witnessing a student who struggled with basic English grammar and vocabulary suddenly grasp complex concepts and communicate with confidence is an incredible feeling. It's a testament to their hard work and dedication, as well as the effectiveness of the teaching method used.
Furthermore, teaching English allows me to learn about different cultures and lifestyles. By interacting with students from diverse backgrounds, I get a chance to broaden my own horizons and gain a deeper understanding of the world we live in. It's fascinating to hear about different customs, traditions, and perspectives on life, and it helps me become a more empathetic and knowledgeable person.
Teaching English to students also offers me an opportunity to help people. In some cases, students come to me seeking better job prospects, academic opportunities, or simply the ability to communicate effectively with those around them. Knowing that I'm helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life is incredibly fulfilling.
Finally, teaching English to students is a lot of fun! Every day is different and there's always a new challenge to tackle. Whether it's finding creative ways to explain a difficult concept or coming up with engaging activities to keep students motivated, I love the constant variety that comes with teaching.
In conclusion, teaching English is a rewarding and fulfilling profession that allows me to make a difference in people's lives while learning about different cultures and having fun. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful profession and platform, and I look forward to continuing to grow as an educator and a person.

ESLの生徒のための英語教師として、私はこの仕事に大きな喜びと満足感を感じています。語学力を身につけるだけでなく、生徒の人生に良い影響を与えることができるのです。
英語を教えていて最もやりがいを感じるのは、生徒が成長していく姿を見ることです。基本的な英文法や語彙に苦労していた生徒が、突然、複雑な概念を理解し、自信を持ってコミュニケーションをとるようになるのを目の当たりにすると、信じられないほどの感動を覚えます。これは、生徒の努力と献身、そして使用した教授法の有効性の証しです。
さらに、英語を教えることで、さまざまな文化や生活様式を学ぶことができます。多様なバックグラウンドを持つ生徒と交流することで、私自身の視野が広がり、私たちが住む世界についてより深く理解することができます。異なる習慣や伝統、人生観について聞くのはとても興味深く、より共感的で知識豊富な人間になるために役立ちます。
また、生徒に英語を教えることで、人助けをする機会にもなります。生徒の中には、就職や進学を希望している人もいますし、単に周りの人とうまくコミュニケーションが取れるようになりたいという人もいます。生徒が目標を達成し、生活の質を向上させる手助けができたと思うと、とても充実した気持ちになります。
最後に、生徒に英語を教えるのはとても楽しいことです！毎日が違っていて、常に新しい課題に取り組むことができます。難しい概念を説明するための創造的な方法を見つけたり、生徒のモチベーションを維持するための魅力的なアクティビティを考えたり、私は教えることで生まれる常に変化することが大好きです。
結論として、英語を教えることは、異文化を学び、楽しみながら、人々の生活に変化をもたらすことができる、やりがいのある充実した職業だと思います。この素晴らしい職業とプラットフォームに参加できる機会に感謝し、教育者として、また一人の人間として、これからも成長し続けたいと思います。
