Rainy season is coming

Muu.

Hello!
I am a Japanese language tutor, Muu..

It's been cloudy and rainy in my city so far.
June is the rainy season in Japan.
It was announced that Tsuyu:the name of the rainy season in Japan, began in the southern part of Kyusyu yesterday.

it is usually damp and clammy for about a month during Tsuyu.
So some people don't like it.
Actually, I kind of like it. It
has been too hot in summer lately, so I feel like I'm taking a break before that.

An American once said to me "Although Japan has spring, summer, autumn, winter, and rainy seasons, why are there only four seasons instead of five?

Tsuyu is a period that almost all Japanese people are aware of every year. But we
don't think we are going to add it to the four seasons.
That's strange!

Is there a rainy season in your country? What seasons are there?

See you soon.
