Anyone who knows enough Greek to hold their own as a tourist is welcome. If you don't speak English, this will be full immersion in the language, and great practice with a native Greek (who spent half his life in the US).

If you already speak good enough Greek to get around as a tourist, and you want to get better and feel more comfortable with the language, come and let's talk.
I was born in Greece, and completed most of my high school education in Greece, complete with college entrance exams. Later I ended up giving my PhD presentation at a Greek University as well.
We can talk about living in Greece, history and culture or whatever topic you like, all in Greek. As someone who has moved from Greek to American schools and back again, sometimes on a yearly basis.
I am quite familiar with the challenges of learning the language from another culture's perspective, as well as being immersed in the Greek one. If you are in any way interested in getting to know the modern version of this ancient language, the atmosphere will be accommodating and comfortable.
Your confidence can only increase, and your skill will grow right there with it.
This is a 40 min. lesson, just talking. If you happen to be more serious, we can get into vocabulary, pronunciation and other specifics, as you would like, in the same lesson or in subsequent ones. Just let me know when we start.
