How do these two versions of English differ?
Description
I being a British-English speaker and living in the US I occasionally mix up both forms of English. In writing, of course, it is prohibited to mix them. In this course, I intend to introduce a couple of differences between the two, while highlighting their importances particularly in scientific writing and speaking. A particularly example is split infinitives. Whereas it is not common practice to hear British-English speakers, particularly outside UK, using it, it is common in the US.This class will accommodate student participation but no discussions as I will be doing the talking most of the times
