This course is a for general English conversation practice. It is useful for those looking to improve their pronunciation, fluency, topical knowledge, and general English conversation skills.
Topics will be chosen by the student, depending on their interests, or by the tutor depending on their interests. The student will submit a preferred topic to the tutor, and if possible the tutor will utilize that topic to practice conversation with the student. If the topic is not possible to utilize or if the student would prefer, the tutor will choose the topic to center the conversation on. Conversations may include question-answer, storytelling, etc.
At the end of the lesson, the tutor will submit to the student a list of speaking points the student needs to work on, as well as speaking points that the student is competent in. If there is anything the student wishes to ask or request of the tutor, the end of the lesson will be the place to do so. Text-based communication after the lesson has ended is also acceptable if their are additional questions/concerns that cannot be addressed before the lesson time is over.
