課程介紹
You may have subtitles to help you with understanding English movies and TV shows. But don't you want to know what's really happening in the movie? Sometimes, subtitles can get lost in translation and the full meaning of the movie is not explained in the subtitles.
In this lesson, you can learn about your favourite movie with me.
What we'll do in this lesson:
- Pick your favourite scene from a movie or TV show.
- If there's anything you don't understand, you can bring it up during the class or have a list of questions prepared beforehand
- We'll break down the scene together.
- Learn words and expressions you don't understand.
- Discuss the meaning of the scene
Movies and TV shows also open you up to the everyday phrases native speakers use. When you learn a language, you also learn a country's culture and what best way to learn than watching and listening to native speakers on TV?
As you know from my introduction, I'm a filmmaker and I love movies! So join my class and let's talk about them!
