课程介绍
TED Talks are short (20 minute) online speeches from professionals all over the world. These speakers share their opinions on a variety of topics including education, business, social norms, politics, lifestyles, art, and much more!
In this class, I will send you a video file of one TED Talk (sometimes two files). I ask that you watch the TED Talk speech 2-3 times and try to understand the main idea. Also, write down any expressions or words that you did not understand. When we have class we will discuss the main idea of the speech and your opinions about its message. While we chat, I will correct errors in pronunciation, grammar, and syntax, so your speech sounds more like that of a native English speaker.
This is a great class for English students who are hoping to improve their collection of advanced vocabulary and practice advanced level listening.
