Reading and Understanding Short Passages
Description
This lesson is for kids in beginner level who like to improve their reading comprehension. Here, I can provide a short story, passage or poem that we can read and comprehend. The student can also bring his/her own material that we could use in the lesson.
What to expect:
(1) Student will have to read the material first, alone
(2) Student will repeat after me. I will guide him/her on how to improve his/her reading skills. This part is also open for the discussion on the vocabularies used.
(3) Student will have to read again, alone.
(4) Reading comprehension. Questions about the material will be asked to make sure that the student understood what it is about.
(5) Further discussions about the material.
(6) If we have more time, we can do some free talk.
