Description
I help students develop conversation skills by talking and listening to them. I also re-model , prompt ,guide as well as practice to help students to learn conversational skills. I also educate students about the importance of rules about polite conversations and consequences for rudeness can help a student manage interrupting and talking back.
Talk slowly, but don't treat them like they're a kid.
Have topics that are common, but ask for the student's opinion.
Let silence hang, but know when to prompt.
Use the chat box or a white board to spell things out.
Take notes.
