Have you ever thought you'd like to talk to someone about what it's like moving to (and living in) Japan? I moved back to Japan in the fall of 2023, so my knowledge is (fairly) recent.

Have you ever thought you'd like to talk to someone about what it's like moving to (and living in) Japan? I moved back to Japan in the fall of 2023, so my knowledge is (fairly) recent.
Here are some examples of things we can talk about:
・The visa and the certificate of eligibility (COE)
・Shipping
・Things to do (ideally) before you arrive
・Things to do within 14 days of arrival (e.g. submitting the tennyuu todoke)
・Japanese culture
・City vs. small town culture
・English vs. Japanese resumes
・Temperature and weather
・Cost of living
I'm originally from Tokyo, and I lived in Vancouver (BC, Canada) for 15 years. In the fall of 2023, I moved to Nagano prefecture in Japan.
