This is a lesson pack where you get four lessons for the price of three!

'English reading for adults' lessons give you the opportunity to develop your confidence in reading and understanding texts in English.

Is there a book or news article that you would like to read to me? Would you like help in understanding what you read?

You can suggest or choose a book, play, poem or news article that you would like to read, discuss and understand.

Examples of texts to read and discuss:

Books - Harry Potter, Great Expectations, Pride and Prejudice, short stories
Plays - An Inspector Calls, Macbeth
News articles - BBC news articles
