Develop conversations skills using a range of interesting topics in everyday life
Description
The teacher has designed a list of questions on a wide range of topics useful in daily conversation. The lesson uses a "Give and Take" approach to developing effective skills for asking correctly phrased questions on each selected topic.
The student may select any topic for the lesson listed below. Then we proceed by:
1) The teacher gives a list of about 10-14 questions on the topic
2) One or two items of vocabulary are missing from each question
3) The student chooses from a given list of possible vocabulary to form a gramatically correct question
We will focus on answering the questions by a) NOT giving simple one word or short replies, if possible b) practice and develop giving EXTENDED ANSWERS using DETAILS, EXAMPLES, and RELATED EXTRA INFORMATION
