Aspects of British history
課程介紹
Is there an aspect of British history which you would like to know more about?
There is the earlier history and culture of the Anglo-Saxons, Picts, Scots, and Vikings are some of the people who lived in early medieval Britain, and the Norman Conquest in 1066.
There are many interesting topics in later history, such as the civil wars of the three kingdoms of the seventeenth century, the Jacobite risings of the eighteenth, the union between Scotland and England in 1707, or daily life and changes in customs and manners.
Let me know which aspect interests you. If you do not know, but are generally interested, I shall provide an introduction for you.
After the lesson, I shall send you links to independent reading material.
