Do you know the features of British English? Let's talk about it!
課程介紹
American English is what most people study as a second-language nowadays, but British English has just as much charm and individuality. As a British person I would love to teach other people about the uniqueness of British English accents and dialects!
In this lesson, we will talk about the differences between American English and British English. I can either teach you about the RP (London) accent and dialect, or the accent I was born and raised with (Yorkshire English). Please tell me when booking your lesson which you would like to talk about!
<About RP English>
The London (or "RP") accent is the accent that you are likely to hear when you see British people on TV and in the Movies. But there is so much more to British than just RP.
<About Yorkshire English>
I am from Yorkshire, England. In my area, the accent is very strong, and there are many aspects that could be confusing for people studying English as a second-language. (don't worry, during the class I will speak with a clear RP accent!).
My lessons are usually conducted in English, but I am able to speak in simple Japanese also.
