Kanji is a big topic. It is the main reason a lot of people give up Japanese. If you've ever been to Japan, you'll see just how hard it is to read things without a solid kanji base.
But how do you ever improve your kanji? Where do you start? If you've dabbled in kanji study before, you may have found that the advice you get from Japanese natives or using the materials that Japanese people use do not work for you at all. This is completely normal!
Kanji can be a very confusing concept if you have no background in such a writing system but I can cut through all the junk and show YOU how to improve your own kanji by understanding some key concepts about how kanji works and how you may be approaching it the wrong way altogether!
Effective kanji study brings so many benefits as it increases your vocabulary by a huge amount and even enables you to hear a word you've never come across before and make an educated guess what the kanji could be, thus working out what the word is itself!
