Watch an English TV show or movie and discuss with a native English speaker. One of the best ways to improve your listening and speaking!
课程介绍
Learn English through watching TV shows and movies! This is one of the most fun ways to improve your speaking and listening skills. It is also effective at broadening your vocabulary and strengthening your understanding of words by using them in context!
If you want to become a more fluent and natural English speaker - this class is for you!
Before lesson
1. Choose what TV show or movie we will watch (most shows on Netflix and Disney+ are available to me). Some suggestions are listed below.
2. Watch the show. Either 1 episode or about 20 min's of the movie.
(I recommend watching with English or Japanese subtitles on)
During lesson
1. You can ask about any vocabulary, grammar, or context (such as cultural differences) that you did not understand.
2. We discuss the movie! (for example: What was your favorite part? What surprised you? What do you think will happen next? Has something similar happened to you?)
After lesson
I will send you feedback and a list of any new words or phrases we discussed in class!
This is a lighthearted, casual class where we can have fun and learn at the same time!
