Description
This course covers basic Pidgin English and provides a good foundation for travel or for those moving to Hawaii.
This course is 30 minutes but can be repeated multiple times for practice and further knowledge.
In this course, you'll get:
- general history of Hawaii
- loanwords used in Hawaii from a variety of languages
* Japanese, Hawaiian, Portuguese, Spanish,
Ilocano and more.
- basic phrases
- basic conversation in Pidgin
- documents for studying
- island differences in vocabulary (i.e. Maui vs O‘ahu)
- cultural knowledge of Hawaii and Tahiti
This course is not designed for beginners in English. It is designed for intermediate and advanced students that have a good grasp on English.
