Greetings from Casablanca, 

This is Ms. Soukaina, 

Welcome to a virtual tour to Casablanca, Morocco. And no, this is not going to be a talk about the movie 'Casablanca', but a walk around its major corners and famous local food and culture. Through this tour, my aim is to make English learners practice conversational English while having fun and learning about one of the most well-known cities in the world. 


The course structure is overall planned as follows: 

- To warm our introduction up through the '' Look, Read, Think'' describing a series of pictures related to the cities size and to Casablanca's size, getting you to use new vocabulary and to understand the meaning in the context of travel and tourism. 

- To Drill and practice what we discussed already but in details and through quick exercises permitting learners to come up with complete sentences while answering (in this section we compare and contrast Casablanca to the learner's hometown, the local food to their food, the cultural habits as well as the city's weather and geographical setting''. 

Practice 1: Dialogue

Pretend you were in Casablanca for summer vacation,  tell your friends and family about the local food, culture, clothing, and about the habitants, etc.  This section is descriptive in nature.




Practice 2: Answering questions

Now, pretend that you have gathered enough information about Casablanca, answer a set of following question it, let us see how many bonus points you will get :)
