Today we will talk about restaurants. 

Our objective today, we will practice vocabulary, reading and comprehension of the subject matter

Example of a lesson that would be presented in powerpoint style slide will look as follows:
To start we will have some warm up questions:-
  •      What kind of restaurants do you like to go to?
  •     How often do you go out to eat?
  •     Why do you like this one so much?
  •     Do you like trying new foods? Why?
  •     Do you like Western food? What kind?
  •     Do you like any other international food? What?
  •     What kind of food do you dislike the most? Why?
We will follow with different examples of restaurants that would serve Asian,Western, Mexican and Italian foods.

Dim sum, Chow Mein, and sea foods specails
Children under 12 pay what they weigh

 We will discuss and address any difficulty the student may be experiencing.

We will move onto discussion questions


Which of the four restaurants would you prefer to try? Why?
Which one would you least like to try? Why?
If you travelled to America, what kind of food would you like to try?
If you travelled to China, what kind of food would you like to try?
If you moved overseas, would you cook at home or eat out?
Which are easier to use, a knife and fork or chopsticks?
What things are on the table in a restaurant?
How do you usually dress when you go to a restaurant? Casual or Formal?
Is Western food more or less healthy than the food in your country?
Which restaurants in your city are considered to be fine dining?
What is the most expensive restaurant in your city? Is it worth the price?
What is a good time to go out to dinner? Early or late?
Have you ever worked in a restaurant? Describe your experience.
Do people usually tip a waiter in your country?  How do you feel about tipping?
Have you ever found a fly in your soup? Is so, what would you do?
If you cooked dinner for your teacher, what would you cook?  Why?



My style of teaching is communicative, interactive, and student centered. The student needs to speak and get the most of the time spent together.  I want to keep the students motivated engaged and get to know each one so that we can use topics that interest them to make the learning process fun and exciiting. Grammar,Vocabulary, Reading or writing, we will engage in sports. television, media to meet our objectives we set and the goals acheived.
My aim is to ensure the students feel confident to speak English fluently.

I am flexilbe with my time and amd open to teach beginners through to intermediate and help adults with business english
