레슨 상세 내용

Lesson Objective:
By the end of the lesson, the student will improve their listening comprehension and ability to analyze videos by identifying key details and interpreting visual and audio cues.

Lesson Outline:

  1. Warm-Up (3 minutes)
    Start with a brief chat about the student's favorite types of videos (movies, TV shows, YouTube, etc.). Ask how watching videos helps them learn English, activating prior knowledge and setting up for the activity.

  2. Pre-Listening Discussion (4 minutes)
    Introduce the video topic by giving a short description 

  3. First Viewing and Listening (7 minutes)

Play the video clip (2-3 minutes long). The student listens for the general idea without subtitles, focusing on the main message, characters, or events. Afterward, ask the student to summarize what they understood.

  1. Second Viewing – Detailed Listening (8 minutes)
    Play the video again, this time with a set of questions for the student to answer. Student have to note down any additional details they observe during this second viewing.

  2. Video Analysis and Discussion (10 minutes)
    Discuss the student's answers and their understanding of the video. Presenting follow-up questions to dive deeper into their analysis, focusing on both audio and visual elements. Enhancing the spoken language

  3. Wrap-Up (3 minutes)
    Conclude with a short reflection on the student’s listening and analysis process. Highlight effective strategies were used, and emphasize the importance of combining audio and visual input to improve comprehension.
