Let's Talk about Literature
Read and discuss poetry, short stories, manga, and more with a licensed English Language Arts teacher.
Description
Do you want to practice reading and discussing your favorite poems, short stories, books or comics? This is the class for you!
I love reading, and I have experience teaching literature. I would love to discuss your favorite stories with you.
This lesson has two course that you can choose to try:
1. Literature Club
Bring your favorite poems, books, or short stories to the lesson. When we meet, we will share the materials we brought and discuss them. This is like a free talk lesson for discussing literature.
2. Understanding Literature
If you want to learn more about things like analyzing literature (symbolism, writing style, and so on), this is the course for you. Choose a poem, book, or short story that you want to understand better or let me recommend one to you. Read the chosen work before out lesson, and take notes on points you want to discuss.
During our lesson, I will answer any questions you have about the reading, and teach you about some of the main literary points of the work.

If you want to read a long work such as a novel, please choose one chapter or one theme that you want to discuss, or request multiple lessons so we can talk more in-depth about the book.
