레슨 상세 내용

An introduction look into music and how it works. Taking this course can help with other music endeavors such as composition or playing the piano. Topics that I will cover include:

- Clefs, Notes, and Rests
- Rhythm and Meter
- Scales
- Key Signatures
- Intervals
- Chords
 
Since music theory can be complex, each lesson will be taught accordingly to each student's musical background and comprehension. All topics are also not taught in one day and will take multiple lessons and individual practice to fully understand.
 
 
Materials needed include a piano or musical keyboard. If you don't have either, you can use an app on your phone/tablet. Most apps will work, but I find Mini Piano Lite by Umito for Android and Mini Piano by Richard Foster for iOS to be the most simple to use.
 
Notation software will also be used for students who continue to take this lesson and learn the more advanced topics. Free software I recommend is Musescore.
