課程介紹
I am the host of the Tokyo Podcast and every week I interview a native English speaker about living and working in Japan.
My shows are a good opportunity for Japanese people to listen to real native English level of conversation.
The English langauge classes at your eikaiwa, listening to CD, watching movies, these are not real English conversation.
This lesson will be for you to choose one of the shows that you enjoy and then we will discuss it. This is important as most eikaiwa lessons are the teacher asking you questions. My lesson is not asking questions but discussion!
Imagine you are meeting friends for coffee and you are talking about a new movie or book or TV show you just watched.
That is the style of conversation that you need to learn if you want to speak English. The question and answer style will not help you become a fluent speaker.
We will do 40 minutes of conversation and then I will give you some tips on how to improve your English speaking.
