People often mistakenly think that the only difference between British and American English is our accents - but ask any native or anyone who has lived or travelled to one of these countries and you will soon see that there are a vast number of differences, ranging from meaning to spelling to usage and more! :-)
If you want to find out why it's not such a good idea to walk into an expensive suit shop and ask for 'pants' in the UK, or why you wouldn't ask for 'chips' in an American fast food outlet like Mcdonalds - this sheet is ideal for you.
This is perfect for anyone travelling to the UK or the USA, or anyone who simply wants to master their knowledge of the English language.
Many students feel that they have learned British English in school in their country, but in years of experience I can safely say that I have only seen authentic British English taught in schools on very rare occassions.
