课程介绍
Hi! I'm Rowland and I'm currently in my third year of my PhD programme in Education at the University of Oxford. I'm a linguist by academic training and I specialise in doing research on English language teaching and learning. Prior to my PhD, I worked for more than three years as an academic writing instructor at a Singaporean university. I'm here because I enjoying teaching English! I offer two types of lessons: Academic Writing and Conversational English.
If you're looking for someone to guide you and help you improve your conversational skills, I'm the person for the job!
For Conversational English: lessons will be semi-structured. We can talk about any topic - so long as it's not inappropriate! If you're only beginning to learn English, we'll use the conversation format to hone your language macro-skills, especially speaking and listening. If you've been learning English for a while now, we can use the lesson time to further enhance your conversational skills.
