Mi chiamo Stefania.
I'm Italian, I was born in Piedmont, the region of Barolo and truffles, but I lived and studied in Venise.
After my university degree (I studied Japanese language and literature), I moved to Paris. I currently live in Lyon where I work as a tourist guide.
Everyday, I meet people from allover the world and I love to share with them my knowledge and my passion for art and history.
And it is with the same enthousiasm that I have taught Italian and English while living in Japan or English to adult professionals in Italy.
Today, my job as a guide allows me to continue to teach, both to adults and students. I am a very patiente and didactic person (at least so my students say!). Because I have spent many years studying foreign languages (I speak also French and English), I know how hard it is to learn another language.
And I know that you may know plenty of words and expressions, but comes the moment to talk, they won't come out.
That's why with my lessons I stress the importance of conversation. And don't worry if you make mistakes: "provando si sbaglia, sbagliando s'impara"! (lear from failure!)
So, I invite you to try my "trial lesson": we'll decide together what your needs are, your studying pace, the method that most suits you and so on.
My lessons can be tailored made, from beginners to advanced level.
