Brought to you directly from Russia, a powerhouse of the arts! ~Piano lessons from Moscow!Nice to meet you♪ I joined Cafetalk as a Piano & Russian language tutor from Summer 2021!
My students usually call me Momo-sensei.
(The video at the beginning is from a performance I gave after my recital at a music conference in Russia♪ Metonel/Fairy Tale op. 26-3)
I studied at a local art college and graduate school in Aichi prefecture, Japan, and began working as
a pianist & piano teacherwhile I was still a student.
Afterwards, I decided to take a break from my work in Japan and study abroad in Russia to “become an expert on my favorite Russian composers!” With this passionate goal in mind, I went to study at the Moscow Conservatory of Music.
Now in my fourth year, I am enrolled in a doctoral program and am studying as a musicologist.

◎ By providing lessons that fully utilize the skills and stage experience I have cultivated as a pianist and the in-depth knowledge I have gained as a musicologist, I aim to provide students with the kind of teacher they have been looking for, and the knowledge that they wanted to acquire!
◎ Nowadays, online piano lessons are the norm. I am very excited to be able to meet people from all over the world, weave sounds together, and talk about the same piece of music...I am so glad to be alive in this age(*^-^*) I’m excited to meet you in my lesson!
*Students of any age, gender, and level are welcome in my lessons! Of course, I can offer one-off lessons as well as music lessons based on non-classical pieces. If you are interested in taking a lesson, you can start with my shortest 30 minute lesson.

【About my Russian language lessons】
“I want to speak the language that my favorite Russian composers spoke!” This was my initial motivation to study the Russian language, but later went on to study at a graduate school in Russia, and now I have presented at conferences and written papers in Russian.
I started to learn Russian more seriously when I was 25 years old, and I studied in Russia when I was 27 years old. Compared to those around me, I was not a fast learner. However, from the very beginning of my studies in Russia, I was able to speak fluently without an accent to the extent that Russians would ask me, “You have been living in Russia for a long time now, haven’t you?” I will teach you how to learn Russian efficiently and quickly without having to study abroad.
☆ If you are still nervous about learning from native speakers, or if you want to understand basic grammar in Japanese first... please contact me! For those who already know some Russian, I can also conduct my lesson in Russian as well.
