Hello! My name is Maria. I am a TEFL certified English teacher and I specialize in working with young learners between ages 6 and 16.

I primarily use the Oxford Discover and the Big English Books, which align with the Common European Framework of Reference. During my classes, I place a strong emphasis on developing the student's spoken grammar, verbal communication, and critical thinking skills. Additionally, I tailor each class to the unique goals of every student.

We talked about Venezuela. She had lived in Venezuela, so she introduced it eagerly. I didn’t knew it at all, so I was very interested in it. She prepared and showed me a lot of pictures, so I easily understood her introduction. We enjoyed the lesson.

We talked about Lisbon in Portugal. She shared some pictures. When I saw these pictures, I thought the they were different from Japan. She explained Lisbon city eagerly and it was easy to understand. I enjoyed this lesson.
