Hello, my name is Joshua! I am a native English speaker from California who is currently living in Seoul. At 22 years old, I bring a fun and fresh approach to learning English backed by experience in tutoring and personal development. I have interests in astrophotography, art, chess, fitness, basketball, gaming, software development, and others, so we probably have something in common that we can talk about in English!
While living in California, I got the chance to tutor people from various backgrounds and ages and was able to help them improve their English ability. Additionally, I was a personal trainer for a year and a half, so I understand the importance of personalized lessons.
I am a lifetime learner and firmly believe that you should always be trying to improve yourself. Even though I am still relatively young, I have gotten the opportunity to go into multiple different fields and gain valuable experience, be it professional or just a hobby. I truly think that everything you do presents an opportunity to learn, so you best not waste it!
I think what sets me apart though is my approach to learning. Everyone is different and requires different study methods. While learning Korean, I have used various study methods in an effort to figure out what works best for me. This is something I can help you with. Not only will you be able to improve during our lessons, but outside them as well. By using the methods that I will give you or help you refine yourself, you can enjoy the learning process while learning faster than before!
