How would I describe myself?
I am a people-person. I am very friendly, and I love meeting new people and learning about their lives and their backgrounds. As a teacher, it is my job is to teach you how to be able to communicate in English well. By doing that, we are able to get to know each other and learn from each other from our experiences.
I am very passionate about my work. Because I love what I do, it helps me provide the most effective lessons for each of my students. It is my top priority.
By providing effective lessons, I am highly-organized and create individual curriculums for each student I teach. Each lesson will be structured, step by step, and easy to follow. Being well organized will help my students stay on track and become a great speaker step-by-step.
What is my teaching background?
I am a creative practitioner, beginning my career in Canada as a Teacher in the school system. I graduated from the Nova Scotia Teachers College with a Bachelor of Education.
I have been an English teacher since 1997, around Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kanagawa area with extensive experience in Tokyo. Special training in areas in Business English, daily conversation, TOEIC & Eiken, kids lesson, and in Japanese public high school as well as famous language schools in Tokyo.
ノバスコシアティーチャーズカレッジを卒業後、カナダの小学校で教師の経験を経て来日、約20年間日本の東京、神奈川エリアでESLと英会話を教えています。ビジネス英語、日常英会話、TOEIC、英検、子供向け英会話、高等学校や有名英会話スクールでも経験があります。
I have also been a teacher trainer in language schools as well as a teacher trainer in the Japanese Cram school, training Japanese teachers on how to teach English to Japanese learners.
I have helped hundreds of adults and kids’ English learners to reach their goals in Japan as well as prepare business learners to succeed in another country. また、英会話教師に対するトレーニングもしています。

What kind of lessons do I provide?
I provide interesting lessons using a variety of activities to help improve your English. All lessons are prepared on PowerPoint and easy to understand and enjoy the lesson.
