Hello, こんにちは, Bonjour!
My name is Lynn. I am from South Africa and live here in Pretoria with my husband and our cats. Running is my favourite pastime and I ran my first marathon in September 2023. I can read and write Hiragana and Katakana. Since returning from Japan last year, I've been studying Japanese continually and can explain certain words and sentences in Japanese.
I hold a BA Degree in Global Studies, as well as a TEFL Certificate.
My lessons mainly focus on English conversation, but will include reading and writing as well, depending on the lesson.
I prepare lessons relevant to your needs and daily life. Please feel free to talk to me, even if you are shy. I am here to help you and we will have fun while learning English. My aim is to keep you motivated and even after the lesson finishes, I will give you some tips to continue learning at home.

24 September 2023 - Berlin marathon, done!
At 32 km I definitely questioned my life choices, sanity, and existence in this world.
November 2023
My husband and I recently visted Japan for 3 weeks. Our first week was spent in Tokyo.
We moved to Osaka for the second week. While based there, we visited Minoh City, where we witnessed the Monks' closing ceremony at Ryuanji Temple. Other day trips from Osaka were visits to Kyoto and Kobe.
During our third and final week, we visited Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We would like to return for another visit!
