My name is 이형석 and I am a Korean language tutor.
I am delighted to meet all of you who are interested in learning Korean.
 
After studying tourism management at university, I went to Tokyo for a year to study Japanese.
At that time, I didn’t understand hiragana or katakana yet, so I decided to start learning from the beginner level class.
 
While learning Japanese, I felt the importance of the following 3 things:
1. To have confidence in yourself
2. To speak a lot
3. To enjoy learning
 
I think the reason I was able to chat with Japanese people with more ease and socialise with many friends after only a year after starting to learn Japanese as a beginner was because I followed these 3 points.
 
When learning Korean, don’t worry too much about how difficult it might be, and rather, just try to speak as much as you can with confidence.
