My name is Bae Ji-Young, and I am a Korean language teacher.
I enjoy traveling (especially looking for local secret spots), coffee (vanilla lattes),
shopping (sports attire), walking (40 minutes every morning),
and yoga (I recommend teacher shim euddeum).
I have also been working and raising children at the same time for many years.
I have worked at a hotel in Myeongdong for over 10 years and currently spend my time in and out of South Korea and Vietnam.
While working at this hotel, I met many people from other countries and was
surprised to find that they were very interested in the Korean language and culture.
Wanting to communicate more closely with them, I started studying the Korean language and culture,
eventually becoming a Korean language teacher, which has enabled me to meet you all.
Now that I am living abroad myself, I have more empathy for the problems
I believe that the more one’s love for a country and interest in its
culture grows, the more one’s language skills improve.
Grammar and theory are not the only way to improve your language skills.
For this reason, I focus my lessons on expressions and patterns that
Koreans actually use in their daily lives. I also offer customized lessons depending
on the level and interests of each student.
