Colin コリン 講師のプロフィール
Greetings from Shikoku...
Hello! My name is Colin and I live in Ehime Prefecture, Japan.
I first came to Japan in 1996 from my hometown of Melbourne,
Australia. I'm married with three kids and enjoy living a simple,
healthy life in the countryside of Japan. When I'm not teaching,
I enjoy spending time cycling, hiking, and walking around my
neighborhood -- I usually try to walk at least 7km every day.
I also enjoy doing TM Meditation, visiting shrines
and temples, drawing etegami, studying Japanese,
and eating sushi whenever possible.
My teaching experience includes teaching at kindergartens,
elementary, and junior high schools. I also teach business
English to managers and engineers at manufacturing companies
and have a home classroom (photo) where I teach
local students and conduct online lessons.
Q. Why only 20-minute lessons?
*As an experienced tutor, having a 10-minute break
between lessons ensures that I'm fully prepared and
relaxed at the beginning of each new lesson, which I
believe enables me to deliver better quality lessons
for all students.
*My children's lessons are fast-paced, while my
lessons for adult learners are more relaxed.

confidence by interacting with a native English-speaking
tutor with more than 25 years of teaching experience at
preschools, elementary, and junior high schools in Japan.
