Hello! Nice to meet you, my name is Shin. This is actually my real name.

From July 2024 (not yet fully confirmed), I plan on providing educational training to international students, after which I will take applied training course and examinations to become a qualified Japanese language teacher. I have  completed the Japanese language teaching course and examinations as of now.
I have also been teaching Japanese to students online for two years, which I contiut to do.
I teach mainly beginner to intermediate level students.

I enjoy listening to music, photography, and occasionally playing games. I used to play football and skateboard.
My career experience includes sales, assembling and repairing bicycles (including road and other sports bicycles) and editing photographs. I would like to gain experience in welfare work as well.

As for photography, I’ve been featured in domestic and international awards and exhibits.
I don’t really know what’s good about my photographs (lol), but it’s not enough to make a living, so I’m probably not good enough. I consider my works to be neither for the masses nor trendy.

I think I have a calm personality and I laugh a lot. I actually get nervous easily. I enjoy growing houseplants. I’ve been told that it’s a surprise that I enjoy to do so. lol

My second language is English, but I am not particularly good at it.
I teach Japanese using the direct method, where I teach Japanese using Japanese.
However, I will use translations, and other tools as necessary.

・I grew up and continue to live in Tokyo, so I speak with a standard accent.
・I can offer conversational and textbook-based lessons.
・If you have any textbooks you would like to use, please let me know.
・Please let me know if there are any topics that you are interested in.
・Please bring a drink, a notepad and a pen to our lessons if necessary.
・If you have any requests about the day of week and time for your lesson, please contact me.
・If you are a new student, I will offer a lesson consultation!
・If you have any questions about the lesson or schedule, please feel free to message me.
・You can choose to have your video turned off or on
