Hello! I’m Jordan, your dedicated English teacher from the vibrant landscapes of South Africa. My journey as an educator spans over five enriching years, deeply rooted in a passion for connecting with diverse cultures and sharing the beauty of the English language.
Living in South Africa has gifted me countless experiences, each one adding depth to my perspective and inspiring me to bring these insights into our classroom. My personality is warm, encouraging, and patient. I believe in creating a learning space where students feel supported to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow confidently in their language journey. Embracing different cultures is key to making language learning a holistic adventure, and I strive to make each class engaging, dynamic, and most of all, fun!
My Teaching Style
My teaching style is flexible and student-centered, aiming to make learning feel as natural and enjoyable as possible. I enjoy guiding lessons through a mix of structured language skills (like grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation) and real-life application (through conversations, readings, and role-playing). With every lesson, I adapt to the unique learning needs and goals of each student, ensuring that no two lessons feel exactly the same.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me at the stables, where my love for horseback
riding brings me joy and tranquility. I’m also a passionate baker with a serious sweet tooth! Baking allows me to be creative and try new recipes—a process I find incredibly rewarding.

With an advanced TEFL certificate and extensive experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds—from language schools to one-on-one tutoring—I understand that each student has their own journey with the language. In our lessons, we’ll explore English through:
