こんにちは!Hello, there!
My name is Hiroco. I was born and raised in Osaka where is famous for food such as Takoyaki and okonomiyaki and is a very lively place with lots of people. What we mustn't forget about Osaka is the Osaka dialect. It is famous for "Nandeyanen"! It's my favourite city.
I moved to Tokyo to study at university, where I completed a degree of Japanese language teaching and attained a teaching certificate. I also passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and now I have two qualifications as a Japanese language teacher.
In total, I have been teaching Japanese for around five years. Many of my students come from Europe and Asia, especially I think most of them are from France, Germany and Sweden.
Apart from teaching Japanese, I have worked as a translator and interpreter for an IT company, and I now work as a translator on a freelance basis as well. I am also interested in Art. I have been involved in theatre abroad, where I have also worked as a translator, interpreter and coordinator.
I've also lived and worked in India and Vietnam! India is one of the countries I would definitely like to visit again.
