Hello (^-^)/
My name is
Zoë. I come from
London, UK and I live in
Osaka, Japan. I have been
teaching English in Japan for almost
10 years and I have been tutoring
online for
7 years. I started teaching Early Years Foundation to 2-5 years olds and worked my way up through elementary, junior and senior high school and university.
I currently teach part time at a
university in the Health and Sports Science department, part time at a combined
senior and junior high school and once a week at a
juku (cram school). Privately, I teach
all ages including
adults. In short, I have a lot of experience teaching across
all school levels and all ages in Japan ^^
Additionally, I have over
20 years' experience in the creative field. I play the
cello, am a
classically trained singer, teach
dance, do stage
acting and voice acting and love
wrting stories. I am also the
lead singer of two bands in Osaka which is exciting.
I am a
flexible teacher and always adapt my lessons to
match students needs. I encourage students to
talk a lot in my lessons and love finding out about my
student interest's to make the lessons even more catered to you.
Please let me know what you would like to do in my lessons. Whether it be to work on
English conversation,
Business English,
EIKEN,
IELTS,
learn a song, work from a
textbook, talk about
ONE PIECE or
Harry Potter or if you simply want to
read a story with me, I will help you with your
English goals.
I am happy to accept
any level of student. Beginners to advanced, toddlers to adults,
all are welcome to take my lessons. I am looking forward to meeting students from many countries and helping you on your journey (^-^)/
