Self introduction
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture
Graduated from Ehime University, Faculty of Education, specialised in flute. Bachelor of Education.
In recognition of my many years of social contribution activities through flute playing,
I received the Order of Good Conduct of the Japan Good Conduct Association in 2016.
Having a first-class licence to teach high school music and a first-class licence to teach junior high school music.
Attended the Elisabeth University of Music Extension Course. Completed the Bingo Music Therapist Training Course.
Studied under Tadataka Hayashi, Taeko Nagaoka and Keiji Oshiro.
At18, I received advice from jazz pianist Yosuke Yamashita on a performance method she was struggling with, and since then I've been performing under the theme of pursuing 'my own sound'.
Currently developing a number of live concert activities, using my technique as a classical musician and my knowledge of music therapy, while mixing it with enjoyable talk.
Kukiko Moriguchi's Flute Class for Everyone has been widely introduced on TV, radio, internet, newspapers and magazines.
It has been introduced nationwide on NHK Good Morning Japan, Rumour Tokyo Channel, Hiroshima TV, etc.
With the motto "It's never too late to start", I've developed my own unique flute teaching method and have been giving flute lessons to students from primary school to their 80s for more than 30 years.
Even if you are a beginner, have a blank, did not continue in other classes or cannot read music sheets, you can learn to play the flute as part of your lifelong learning and have concert activities through flute playing.
