Jinny Kim 講師的自我介紹

Hello! My name is Jinny Kim:)
I work as a mathematics teacher at a cram school in South Korea. I also teach Japanese at extracurricular classes. I find it both rewarding and fun to share my knowledge with others, so I try my best to do so with as many students as possible while making my lessons enjoyable for my students.
 
I have taught many students while working as a teacher, so I plan on utilising the know-hows I gained through this experience to help you learn Korean. You don’t need to worry about not being able to understand my lessons because I am Korean. I started learning Japanese as a second language when I was a high school student, continued to steadily learn Japanese, and in 2022, I obtained N1 in JLPT.
I have never taught Korean as a language before, but based on my experience of teaching various subjects and the way I myself studied another language, I have set up Korean language lessons for various goals. I would like to help students enjoy learning Korean by using my own experience and memories of studying Japanese :)
 
In addition, since I work as a mathematics teacher, I also have experience preparing extra-curricular mathematics classes just like any other mathematics teachers in my current position. In my extracurricular mathematics classes for elementary and middle school students, I use my knowledge that I gained through teaching students to solve areas that students have difficulty with. I help them understand math with gentle and simple explanations, rather than just the rigid concepts of math, and help them enjoy math by showing them the joy of being able to solve problems.
