Hi everyone! I'm Angela♪
I'm a native Chinese speaker, born in Malaysia, and used to live in Singapore for a while before I move to Japan, I am bilingual I speak English at work and school. I got my TEFL certificate 2 years ago and have been teaching English since then.
I teach both Chinese (Mandarin) and English. I speak 5 languages - Mandarin, English, Cantonese, Malay, and Japanese (beginner level). The languages that I will use in the classroom are English and Mandarin.
I enjoy learning a new language and I want to share that experience with you! I would be thrilled to help you reach your goals while providing you with a fun lesson plan!

[My Style]
1. Minimum interruption, valuable corrections
I will not correct you every time you make a mistake. Continuous corrections do not help you learn English. You will lose confidence and you will not learn anything. Instead, I will pause the conversation from time to time and point out areas you should improve, e.g. pronunciation and better vocabulary. This will maximize your speaking time and give you confidence.
2. You speak most of the time
I will ask you questions and lead the conversation in a way that you will speak at least 75% of the time.
3. Real conversations
In our first lesson, I will ask you what topics you would like to talk about. Examples are hobbies, sports, technology, travel, etc.
