Hello! My name is Shuni シュニ.

I was born in Indonesia but native to English and Indonesian. How could that be? 信じられないでしょう。Well, my parents talked to me from the first day I was born, you know. And, that was English. But because my grandparents and also our housemaid didn't speak English, I had to speak Indonesian.

I have obtained a TEFL certificate which makes me a professional teacher. I also have over 7 years of experience teaching English. 
 
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Japanese Language & Literature. Approximately three years after, I received a grant from The Japan Foundation for a Long Term Training Program for Foreign Teachers of the Japanese Language in Urawa, Japan. 
 
My first formal job was as a Japanese lecturer at a university in Bandung, Indonesia. Due to changes in circumstances, after 5 years, I moved to Jakarta and started my second formal job as a Japanese-English-Indonesian interpreter and translator at a Japanese manufacturing company. Are there many Japanese people in Jakarta?? また信じられないでしょう。
