Nice to meet you!
I am Korean language tutor Koguma.
 
I offer lessons for people who want to start studying Korean
and students who have just started studying Korean
to help them keep up with their studies!
 
I want to study Korean, but it seems too difficult...
I tried to study on my own, but I couldn’t do it...
 
Then why don’t you learn it gradually from the very basics?
 
Let’s start by learning the Korean alphabet, Hangul.
 
I teach the basics of Korean thoroughly, gradually, and in a way that is easy to understand.
I will assist you in mastering Hangul so that you can
start your journey into the world of the Korean language.

For people learning Korean for the first time
① Korean Pre-Lesson【Korean Basics】
This is a lesson for those who are new to the Korean language.
I will explain to you what Hangul is, and the similarities between Japanese and Korean. Let’s transform your worries into excitement about learning Korean!
 
② Hangul Lesson for Beginners【Basic Vowels】Trial, one time only
It’s finally time to start learning the Hangul characters. Let’s start by learning the very basics, the basic vowels.
 
③ Hangul Lesson【Consonants〜】
After learning the basic vowels, let’s start learning more! Just like climbing a flight of stairs, you will gradually increase the number of characters you can read.
 
For beginners
① Your Very First Reading Aloud Lesson
Reading aloud is essential for improving your Korean! Why don’t you make it a regular habit?
 
I am also planning to offer other lessons to help beginners overcome obstacles. First, please contact me by booking my “Consultation Room”.

★My Relationship with the Korean Language★
Even before the “Yong-sama boom (Bae Yong-joon from the TV drama Winter Sonata)“,
I was fascinated by the Korean actors I saw in TV dramas.
I wanted to speak Korean with them some day!
My motivation was also what is nowadays called “推し (Oshi).”
 
I was then drawn to the beauty and joy of the Korean language, and
became obsessed with the Korean language itself, and
the little time I was able to spend studying the language became my everyday source of comfort.
 
It was a hobby that turned into a job, and
now it is so important to me
that I cannot imagine my life without it.
