Bonjour, I am YUKO, a vocal and soprano instructor living in France.
What do you think of when you hear the word “vocal music”? What is “singing”?
Singing is a very enjoyable and life-enriching way to get in touch with your own body.
My personal motto for singing, and my guideline for teaching is...
♪How can I express my voice freely?
♪I want to learn to sing while having fun!
♪I want to sing songs from all over the world!
♪I want to sing to stay healthy!
I would be glad to help you train your vocals!
27 years of vocal music experience.
I have been teaching for 18 years.
① Exercises before the lesson: Breathing lesson I will teach you about abdominal breathing.
② Vocalization using vowel vocalization: How to sing and how to open your mouth
③ Song interpretation: how to sing, diction, and overall advice.
My lessons will include vocal techniques and diction that I learned in France and Japan.
Since I live in France, I welcome French songs, French operas, French chansons (I sang Edith Piaf in a chanson bar in France for about 2 years), etc.

I offer a wide range of lessons from beginner to professional level.
Each of us have different vocals and different personalities.
I would like to proceed with the lesson while answering each question that the you might have. The more vocal lessons you take, the more your vocals will glow. I would be more than glad to help develop the potential of your vocals through lessons with you.
About my musical life♪
When I was a child, I was rather shy and introverted.
However, I loved singing in the morning and music class at school, and I think that was the place where I was able to express myself.
In high school, while studying piano, I discovered vocal music.
I went to a concert and saw a soprano singer who had such a wonderful voice that it brought tears to my eyes. I wished I could have a voice like that, so I started taking vocal lessons around the end of my high school years.
Even though I loved singing, it was a long journey to learn how to use my vocals.
In my twenties, I was a Yamaha instructor for seven years, offering lessons to students.
Although I was an amateur, many of my students were enthusiastic, and although I was young, my lessons were based on trial and error. I myself learned not only from my teacher’s lessons but also from many others.
When I was 31 years old, I wanted to learn French songs and French opera in France, so I saved up enough money to attend and complete a course in a French music school.
I am currently teaching and giving concerts in France.
There is no end to learning vocal music.
I will provide you with lessons that will bring out the brilliance of your vocals♪
Let’s have a lesson together!
Please feel free to send me a message!
