With the intent of becoming an actress, I moved to Tokyo to study theatre at university there. However, while I was there I encountered songs from England which made me interested in classical music, and I changed my major to vocal music. Currently I work as a soprano singer, and I've used my theatre experience up to this point to give vocal lessons and public performance singing lessons at an actors' voice training centre.
Do you all like to sing? Actually, a long time ago I was so bad at singing in front of others that it brought me to tears.(It's no joke, I actually cried, haha) The reason was that I thought that I was totally tone-deaf.
If you're reading this and can relate to it, then it's okay! If you continue to get correct training then you too can become good at singing!
"I'm embarrased to sing in front of others," or "I don't have confidence."
I used to be like that, too. But, as I continued training my voice it improved and little by little I came to enjoy singing. I myself am still devoted to my studies, and that is yet another step towards further enjoyement.
Let's build up our confidence together! I warmly welcome those of you starting voice training for the first time, too!
<Teaching experience, skilled genres> I've mostly taught pop, anime songs, musicals and the like, and have substantial experience teaching voice actors, actresses as well as political candidates. Personally my main type of performance is classical, but I also do many family-oriented concerts and sing almost anything (haha). I have the attitude of "I'll sing anything that I come to like." I particularly like British classical songs. I'm still studying, but if there's anyone else who is interested, let's study together. ♪
<Lesson style> For first time students we hold an interview where we discuss vocal ability, your goals or lesson aims and the songs you'd like to sing. If there is anything you're worried about don't hesitate to consult with me!
First-timers Please "First-timer interview・trial lesson" from the menu.
I'll consider the appropriate lessons from the menu based on the student's vocal ability and level.
It's possible to have lessons outside of the indicated lesson times, so please consult with me.
