Profilo di Hirata
Hello, I'm Hirata. Thank you for viewing my profile.
Now I'm renting a place in Taiwan because I live a lifestyle in which I come and go between Japan and Taiwan. Thanks to a trip to Taiwan I have come to love the country and the people here, and it made me want to improve the Chinese I was already learning...it's now been 4 years since I started this lifestyle. (Currently due to the influence of the coronavirus epidemic I've stopped these trips back and forth.)
I've always been attracted to travel, and I've been to Australia on a school excursion and to America on my own. (In both places I enjoyed the zoos immensely) I liked English a lot, but once I started studying Chinese I became totally hooked on it.
Prior to my coming and going lifestyle, I worked as a private tutor. The majority of my experience was teaching math and English to junior high school students. Junior high school students have a lot of personal anxieties and in spare moments in the lessons I chatted with them and helped them feel relaxed for study.
When I was little I used to learn the piano, and I think that learning an instrument and study have something in common. That thing is "understanding it only in your head is not enough." Adding layers of practice and actually "becoming able to do it" is vital. It's not enough just to read the music and play the piano, you have to practice a lot until you become able to play well.
Explanations are of course important, but it's actually being able to solve the problems over and over again yourself that are the goals of the lesson!
There's so much delicious stuff in Taiwan! ↓
This type of "B-grade" food is cheap but tasty! By the way, this is a glass noodle soup filled with stinky tofy and offal. It's exquisite! ↓
And then there was something which simply surprised me.
There was a bird sitting in the park. Have you seen anything like this before?! ↓
I hadn't…Wow, what an amazing place, I thought, the birds also go about in a relaxed manner. ↓
Taiwan's relaxed atmosphere even affects the birds, I though. (I've seen birds sittting together in groups like this, as well, and it was strange...)
Taiwan has a relaxed atmosphere, the food is delicious and it is a great place.
I'd love to share the knowledge of what's tasty and information I gained when I was out shopping. I’ll do my very best to give you a fun lesson!
I'll give you many opportunities to talk in my Japanese lessons. I'm not a specialist in grammar but I can tell you what kind of Japanese words Japanese people use. Let's enjoy Japanese together.
※ Please be aware that once I am able to resume my coming and going again, my schedule is liable to change a bit.
